Sasha Perera aka Perera Elswhere ist eine britische Musikerin, Komponistin, Produzentin und DJ, die aktuell in Berlin lebt. Prägender Einfluss ist für Sie der „doom-folk“. Ihre „one-of-a-kind” Musik wurde auch schon in Filmen wie Paolo Sorrentinos “Loro”, Ava Du Vernays „Queen Sugar“ oder HBOs „Looking“ verwendet.
Perera Elsewhere is Berlin based, UK born experimental electronic music producer Sasha Perera. Coined by some as ‘Doom-Folk’, her one-of-a-kind music has been used in Paolo Sorrentino’s feature film Loro, Ava Du Vernay’s Queen Sugar show and HBO’s Looking. She‘s been well supported in the media by the likes of Pitchfork, NPR, BBC R1/6Music/1Xtra, Resident Advisor, Crack, Entertainment Weekly, The Wire ,Vogue and many more while KEXP, FACT and Fader have all commissioned exclusive mixes from her.
