Laila White

Laila Mai White is a multidisciplinary artist based in Spain, working across dance, photography, and visual arts. Raised in the Tindouf refugee camps in Algeria and living in Spain since childhood, she brings a unique perspective shaped by her dual identities. Movement and visual imagery serve as tools for her to explore memory, absence, and transformation. Her crutches are both tools and metaphors — symbols of strength, intimacy, and her distinct artistic voice.
