INTERNATIONAL OPERA STUDIO OF THE STAATSOPER STUTTGART
The Staatsoper Stuttgart is one of the most important opera houses in Europe. An essential basis for the success is the ensemble of top-class singers, who are regularly invited to national and international guest performances whilst fully appreciating the Staatsoper as their artistic homeland.
In addition to supporting the singers’ steady professional progress, the Staatsoper Stuttgart has for many years focused on promoting the next generation of singers: The International Opera Studio Stuttgart offers a "trainee program" for singers who have completed their studies. Striking a healthy balance between performances on the big stage and master classes, coaching and special pedagogical supervision, the young singers are encouraged to broaden and develop their voices and artistic personalities. An ideal foundation for the Staatsoper Stuttgart to also guarantee the highest level of singing in the future.

We cordially invite you to join us in discovering these young voices and singer personalities during the course of this season: Carmen Larios and Laura Orueta from Spain, Liam Forrest from the United Kingdom, Cole Bellamy and Deanna Ray Eberhart von Fange from the United States, Jaewoung Lee from South Korea, Ilia Skvirskii from Russia, and Luiza Willert from Brazil. The opera studio is complemented by Moeka Ueno on the piano.
The singers are given the opportunity to take their first formative career steps under the best conditions and under the patronage of chamber singers Catriona Smith and Diana Haller as well as in collaboration with the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts. Accompany our young singers on their way! Become a personal sponsor and/or supporter of the Staatsoper Stuttgart’s International Opera Studio!
We look forward to welcoming you!
