Stammheim 1975 – The RAF-Process
Guided tour by the curator
The Baader-Meinhof trial in Stuttgart-Stammheim against the Red Army Faction (RAF) was one of the most high-profile criminal proceedings in the history of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Haus der Geschichte Baden-Württemberg explores this pivotal chapter in Germany’s confrontation with terrorism in its lounge exhibition "Stammheim 1975". The exhibition brings the first Stammheim trial to life through original audio recordings from the courtroom. Visitors can take a seat in the iconic orange-yellow shell chairs from the trial chamber and sit at the original judge’s bench.
The guided tours on June 1, 2025, are reserved for guests attending our introductory matinee.
