Carmen Larios Caparrós
Soprano
Carmen Larios Caparrós studied piano and singing at the Conservatory of Music of Castile and León in Salamanca. She has won prizes at international singing competitions, including the XIX. Certamen Nuevas Voces in Seville (January 2024), where she won first prize at the Teatro de la Maestranza and received two further awards: the Accademia del bel canto Rodolfo Celletti Special Prize and the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla Special Prize. Parallel to her master’s studies at the School of Music Hanns Eisler Berlin, which she will complete this year, the soprano has been a member of the International Opera Studio of the Staatsoper Stuttgart since this season, where she is gaining stage experience in roles such as Schopfhenne in the new production of Die schlaue Füchsin and Erste Dame in Die Zauberflöte.
