Music from Home

What does your music from home sound like? What records, cassettes, MP3s did you have in your luggage when you came to Germany? Or your parents and grandparents? And which memories come to mind when you hear this music? Tell us about it!
In spring 2024, composer Sara Glojnarić will collect music, sounds and memories from people who themselves or their families have come to Stuttgart from south-eastern Europe and have found their new home here. The interviews and music from this sound archive will later be incorporated into the composition of a new opera, which will premiere at the Stuttgart Opera House in summer 2026.
