Belonging together

An evening celebrating the euphoric community: For the opening gala of the 2023/24 season, musician PeterLicht has come up with a very special program together with young Israeli conductor Keren Kagarlitsky and members of the ensemble. With music by Verdi, Weill, PeterLicht and many others, we bring together pop, opera and classical music: all together, as we belong together. For different as we are, we are strongest and best where we form bonds and counter isolation with the empathy miracle of togetherness. For all life on earth must actually be imagined as a collaborative relationship: We humans, too, could not exist if we could not rely on the help of millions of other life forms to breathe, digest and enjoy. But we also need each other so that we can sometimes share tasks and responsibilities and so that everyday life doesn't spoil our stomachs. Together we are more.
