Homecoming Concert: Philipp Poisel

At Christmas, it’s time to go home – and what better place to call home than the opera house? The Staatsoper Stuttgart’s Homecoming Concerts have become a much-loved tradition over the past few years. On December 27, Ludwigsburg-born singer-songwriter Philipp Poisel takes to the stage at the Stuttgart Opera House for a very special performance, bringing his songs to life in their most stripped-back form, accompanied only by piano and guitar. It’s the perfect evening for that in-between time at the end of the year: warm, uplifting and touched with a little everyday magic. A chance to pause for a moment and let the outside world stand still.
