INTERNATIONAL OPERA STUDIO OF THE STAATSOPER STUTTGART
The Staatsoper Stuttgart is one of the most important opera houses in Europe. An essential basis for the success is the ensemble of top-class singers, who are regularly invited to national and international guest performances whilst fully appreciating the Staatsoper as their artistic homeland.
In addition to supporting the singers’ steady professional progress, the Staatsoper Stuttgart has for many years focused on promoting the next generation of singers: The International Opera Studio Stuttgart offers a "trainee program" for singers who have completed their studies. Striking a healthy balance between performances on the big stage and master classes, coaching and special pedagogical supervision, the young singers are encouraged to broaden and develop their voices and artistic personalities. An ideal foundation for the Staatsoper Stuttgart to also guarantee the highest level of singing in the future.
