Denk ich an Deutschland II

At the beginning of this season, the Staatsorchester Stuttgart together with General Music Director Cornelius Meister and presenter Schorsch Kamerun created a concert, that dealt with the Concept of what Germany is in an associative, humorous and partially ironical way. Now towards the end of the season, we follow up the same idea and pursue it further with a second concert of the same title, Denk ich an Deutschland in der Nacht II. The concert is again conceptualized and presented by Schorsch Kamerun. In a combination of concert essay and live audio drama, we want to ask questions about restarts, alternatives and corrections – all in terms of musical traditions and the historical perspective on two competing forms of social systems.
