Let’s celebrate! The Voguing Stuttgart association is creating creative rooms for BiPOC and LSBTTIQ+ people since nearly two years now. This "Practice Ball" invites you to immerse yourself in the world of the ballroom during this "Evening at JOiN". Join in or simply be there and celebrate - our guests are welcome to help shape this evening!
On a runway, we invite you to present yourself creatively in various categories - from fashion and beauty to body and performance. Pioneers of the German ballroom will provide a supportive framework for your individual performance as jury, MC and DJ. Solidarity and community are the focus of this evening. The JOiN opens its doors from 18:00 (+ box office) and you can start the evening with us at the JOiN bar.
This event is part of the series Abends im JOiN: once a month, JOiN invites art and culture, associations, groups and communities from the city to perform on the stage in the north - with live podcasts, late-night formats, concerts, debates ... From 4:30 p.m., there will be mini-workshops (pre-registration required) - so that from 7 p.m., the party can be even wilder!

4:30 – 5:15 p.m.: Runway Workshop with LaQuéfa 007 (Leipzig)
This category draws heavily on the world of fashion, as participants strut down the catwalk like models. Pre-registration required until December 20 via join@staatstheater-stuttgart.de.
5:15 – 6:30 p.m.: Body Workshop with Missy Bodega (Munich)
Participants will draw attention to their body shape with flattering movements and poses as well as revealing outfits. All body types are equally celebrated here. Pre-registration required until December 20 via join@staatstheater-stuttgart.de.
A ticket for the Winter Ball is NOT required to participate in the workshops.
