Homecoming Concert

Even if you are at home all over the world, at Christmas you still like to come back to where you grew up. And since the opera house in Stuttgart has become Max Herre's second living room after various concerts in recent years, the Stuttgart hip-hop and singer-songwriter legend will once again take over the stage together with MIKI's Takeover! Ensemble will once again take over the stage in the Littmann-Bau. We are especially pleased that this year soul singer Joy Denalane will also be joining us on the Opera House stage on Boxing Day. What emerges is a unique fusion of hip-hop, soul and classical instrumental ensemble. The ensemble of violin, viola, cello, double bass, harp and clarinet around arranger, violinist and conductor Miki Kekenj - concertmaster of the Bergische Symphoniker in his main profession - will form the musical net that will carry Max Herre and Joy Denalane through the evening. A homecoming without cuts and scratches, but with rhythmic precision and dreamlike sound painting.
