Up in the tree by the count of three

Based on the book of the same name by Saskia Hula and Ulrike Möltgen
With Ulrike Below (oboe) and Gudrun Müller (bassoon)
in German
Every day at seven the tiger makes his rounds in the jungle: His coat bristles, his snarls make the earth tremble and he roars with a thunderous voice: “I’ll count to three and if by then, not everyone is high up in the tree, then woe betide you!” Swiftly all animals climb as high as they are able to, even the elephant is hanging on to a branch. And everyone is as quiet as a mouse, the tiger is content. If it weren’t for the small porcupine that has no intention whatsoever of following the tiger’s commands…
The musicians of the Staatsorchester perform this wacky little story about courage.
