Eine Reise durchs Opernhaus

The opening concert sets the tone for the season and this time is entirely dedicated to the world premiere of The Three Investigators and the Hall of Mirrors: Just like in a case featuring the three detectives Justus Jonas, Peter Shaw, and Bob Andrews, the audience embarks on an adventurous chase through the opera house with the help of a camera. Behind many a door lie familiar opera characters such as Musetta from La Bohème and Giorgio Germont from La traviata. Along the way, the audience also encounters artists who offer insights into productions such as Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk and Der Rosenkavalier, as well as the world premieres of The Three Investigators and the Hall of Mirrors and Atatürk. The ensemble members of the Staatsoper Stuttgart and the Staatsorchester Stuttgart, conducted by Lin Liao, will provide a musical preview of the season.
