A strange place where lost things are stored. A place where these lost things might even be found again. But what about the irretrievable? With Fundbüro, the new members of the Opera Studio present themselves for the first time in their own piece, their voices and native languages enlivening an in-between world in which a story lurks behind every object. Arias, pop ballads and folk songs, the tragic and the banal, humor and emotion mingle: a strange, a magical place.

June 5
Following the performance of Fundbüro, we will host a short post-show talk titled Meet My Shrink. Together with JOiN co-director Keith Bernard Stonum and psychologist Eben Louw, we will explore the themes of the piece from a psychological perspective.
June 12 & 14
Ahead of Fundbüro, we’ll set the mood with a short edition of our Schlager night Gnadenlos Atemlos – a perfect warm-up for the performance!

Kollektiv MEMBRA
The collective MEMBRA (Martin Mutschler, Thilo Ullrich & Amanda Ziemele) researches at the interface of opera, performance and dance for new forms of music theater and for unusual possibilities of expression for the singing body in space. After working in Hamburg and Rīga/Latvia, among other places, they are working in Stuttgart for the first time.
