Dear audience,
What a wonderful moment! It is with tremendous joy that I begin my tenure as General Music Director of the Staatsoper and the Staatsorchester Stuttgart. I look forward with great excitement to the journey we will embark on together.
An inaugural season always has something very special about it – curiosity, getting to know one another, and the development of a shared artistic vision. For the 2026/27 season, we have put together a program of which I am very proud: a broad musical spectrum that invites all to discover the variety and richness of the orchestral repertoire.
I look forward to this musical journey together – and welcoming you to our concerts!

The entire season 2026/27
We will announce the full program for the season 2026/27 on May 12, at 20:15 h. Advance ticket sales for all opera performances and concerts in the upcoming season will begin on July 13, 2026, at 10 h. Tickets for the guest performance at the Beethoven-Fest Bonn are available at www.beethovenfest.de.
