Dear audience,
What a wonderful moment! It is with tremendous joy that I begin my tenure as General Music Director of the Staatsoper and the Staatsorchester Stuttgart. I look forward with great excitement to the journey we will embark on together.
An inaugural season always has something very special about it – curiosity, getting to know one another, and the development of a shared artistic vision. For the 2026/27 season, we have put together a program of which I am very proud: a broad musical spectrum that invites all to discover the variety and richness of the orchestral repertoire.
I look forward to this musical journey together – and welcoming you to our concerts!

The entire season 2026/27
We will announce the full program for the season 2026/27 on May 13. Advance ticket sales for all opera performances and concerts in the upcoming season will begin on July 13, 2026, at 10 h. Tickets for the guest performance at the Beethoven-Fest Bonn are available at www.beethovenfest.de.
